Firstly: General Publication Policies and Guidelines

1. The manuscript must fall within the journal’s scope.

2. The research must be original and contribute new knowledge to the field

3. The study must follow recognized scientific research standards and methodology.

4. The manuscript must not have been previously published or submitted elsewhere.

5. The manuscript must not be derived from a Master’s or PhD thesis.

Secondly: Manuscript Preparation Guidelines – North Journal of Basic and Applied Sciences: 

1. Language: The journal accepts manuscripts in Arabic or English. 
2. Publication Fees: he journal does not charge any submission or publication fees. 
3. Review Timeline: Peer review is conducted promptly. The initial decision is typically issued within approximately 14 days.  
4. Length and Format: The manuscript must not exceed 8,000 words, including Arabic and English abstracts and the reference list. Paper size must be A4. Use a standard font, size 12 or 14. 
5. Margins and Spacing: All margins (top, bottom, left, right) must be 2.5 cm. Line spacing is single. 
6. Abstracts: Two abstracts are required, one in Arabic and one in English. Each must not exceed 200 words. 
7. The English abstract must be followed by no more than five keywords reflecting the research areas for indexing purposes. 
8. Use Arabic numerals (1, 2, 3) throughout the manuscript.. 
9. Page numbers must appear at the bottom center of each page. 
10. Authors must adhere to research ethics. All submissions are screened for similarity and plagiarism. The journal applies strict policies regarding improper citation. 
11. The research title, author(s) name(s), affiliation(s), country, and correspondence address must appear on a separate page (in both Arabic and English). The manuscript should begin on a new page with the title only, followed by the full text. 
12. References must follow the citation style commonly adopted within the relevant discipline. 
13. If the manuscript is written in Arabic, the reference list must be translated or romanized according to the journal’s approved model, while retaining the original English references. The Arabic references should appear first, followed by their romanized version. 
14. A brief biography for each contributing author must be provided (not exceeding 100 words per author). 
15. Upon acceptance, all publishing rights transfer to the journal. The manuscript may not be published elsewhere, in print or electronically, without written permission from the Editor in Chief.
